MRU Summer University will take place from 22nd of July to 9th of August

“I am an artist, painter, lecturer and art teacher. I prepare exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. I am the curator of artistic projects. My subjects taught in MRU are related to creativity activities.  I am the mentor and organizer of the Creative Industries Days at MRU. I like to create with young people together and inspire them to creativity.”

Lecturer Edita is going to conduct a seminar “Creativity & Communication” and guide students to National Visitor’s Centre for Protected Areas.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. NADEZDA STOJKOVIC – 07-22 – 08-01

Nadežda Stojković teaches English for Specific Purposes at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Faculty of Medicine at the University of Niš.
Also, she is an Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Teaching English for Specific and Academic Purposes, Advisory Editor for Cambridge Scholars Publishing, UK, and External Reviewer, assisting with the evaluation of proposals for Competitive Internal Research Award (CIRA) program, Khalifa University of Science & Technology, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Moreover, Nadežda is President of the Expert Council of the Master’s Program Theory of Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching and Intercultural Communication at St. Petersburg State University, Russia. Also, she is Visiting Professor of Theory of LSP at Mykolas Romeris University.

Her main areas of interest and research are relationships between language and identity, ESP, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, and literature.

During MRU Summer University 2019, Nadežda is going to give lectures on Academic English.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. GRAZINA CIULADIENE 07-24

Dr. Gražina works at Mykolas Romeris University as Associate Professor. She is an expert at the fields of Mediation, Intercultural Communication and Heritage. Also, Gražina is a member of the International Association for Conflict Management.

Gražina will introduce Multicultural Vilnius to MRU Summer University 2019 students.


Michael Birnhack is Associate Dean and Professor of Law, at the Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University. His research focuses on Information Law, especially privacy law and copyright law. Within the privacy field, Michael currently conducts studies on school surveillance, on digital remains, and privacy theory. He was sub-contractor for the EU Commission on the matter of Israel’s data protection adequacy; a member of several experts’ committees in Israel. His 2010 book on privacy, in Hebrew, won the Book prize of the Political Science Association. Michael is the director of the S. Horowitz Institute for IP in memory of Dr. Amnon Goldenberg, at Tel Aviv University, and the Director of the Parasol International LL.M Program.


Our guest lector Alban from Universum College, Kosovo will lead lectures about “Tourism Marketing”.


Tomas will lead a seminar about Fintech: computer programs and other technologies used to support or enable banking and financial services.


Marius is going to introduce with all the interesting details connected to E-payment market in Europe.


Martynas will lead a LegalTech seminar.

Martynas Mockus is the head of Legaltech Centre at MRU. He holds Joint International Doctoral (Ph.D.) Degree in Law, Science and Technology ( issued by 5 European universities. His research interests are legal ontologies, legislation 2.0 and legal issues of disruptive technologies and phenomenons. He is a lecturer of university since 2005. Martynas is evaluator of EU E-justice projects. A few of Martynas’s accomplishments and roles have included:

  • Expert of Working Party E-Law/E-justice at European Council;
  • Vice director (for technology) of State Enterprise Legal Information Centre, which well known for legal information systems like Litlex, Bailiffs IS, Legal acts register, CMS “Standartas” and etc;
  • Project leader of EU and EEA funded public projects PRISONIS and Modernization of Legal Acts register;
  • Winner of Lexis Nexis prize issued by Austrian Computer Society(for conference paper).


Prof. doc. Danielius and prof. doc. Jolanta will take You deep to unconscious Intercultural Psychology.

EGLE SELEVICIENE – 08-06 – 08-08

Eglė is a PhD student in Education at Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania. She has over 15 years’ experience teaching English for specific purposes (ESP) in a variety of study programmes in tertiary level. Her primary research fields of interests include Web 2.0 technology integration into ESP classroom, Web 2.0 technology-enhanced teaching and learning ESP and Web 2.0 technology acceptance. She is also interested in teaching English pronunciation, phonetics and phonology. During MRU Summer University 2019, Eglė is going to give lectures on Academic English.


Together with Valdas you will solve practical ethics/ non-discrimination issues.  At the afternoon field visit to the Lithuanian center for Civil Education.


Alina will about tourism and it’s sustainability and the seminar will be leaded by the trip to one of the Lithuanian capitals – Kernavė!


Prof. Dr. Vilma Cingiene will lead a seminar about “Leisure Management”.


Dr. Dovile Gailiute-Janusone serves as Associate professor at the Institute of International and EU Law at Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), where she currently teaches the courses on Public International Law and International Protection of Human Rights. Dovile completed her PhD on the right to housing and continues her research on various aspects of human rights. She served as a trainee at the European Court of Human Rights and developed her research skills during fellowships in different countries.


DanguolE SeniutienE is a lecturer and PhD student of Law at Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania). Since 2007, she is a Head of State Border Guard department at Public Security Academy and is responsible for all courses relevant with state border guard that are delivered in Public Security Academy. She is also actively involved in academic activities: gives lectures for bachelor and master students. She specializes in migration law, public law and public safety.

Phd Gintarė is a lecturer who will lead story telling and self-branding seminars.
